The Two Things in Matthew 7 (part 1)
TWO GATES: – the Wide and the Narrow
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.” Mat 7:13
Two Gates: The Wide and the Narrow Gate leads to two different roads.
The wide Gate is the easy way out,
It is the gate that gives man a form of godliness without the transforming power of the Holy Spirit,
It is ceremony without reality,
It is ordinances without True worship,
It is religion without union with Jesus Christ,
It is forgiveness without true Biblical repentance,
It is repentance without a turning from sin and denying oneself,
It is church without the body of Christ,
It is worship without the heart,
It is prayer without sacrifice,
It is faith without Truth and works,
It is Christianity without Christ as Saviour, Healer, Sanctifier, Lord and coming King!
The narrow gate is the gate where you “strive” to get through
It is forgiveness with true repenatance
It is faith with works
It is Life out of death
It is sacrificial living
It is Christ instead of self!
